Component 1 includes
  • AHPRA self-check
  • 3-month online English
Entry requirement:
  • Above 18 years of age
  • You must hold current registration as a Registered Nurse in your home country or working towards your registration with any nursing regulatory body.

When an internationally qualified nurse or midwife (IQNM) completes the Self-check they will be advised if they are in Stream A, B, or C, or if AHPRA needs to assess their qualification(s) before assigning a stream. The stream is dependent on which qualification assessment criteria an IQNM’s qualification(s). IQNMs in each stream must complete a different number of steps (assessment stages) before they are eligible to apply for registration. Stream A and Stream B IQNMs who choose to proceed in the IQNM assessment process are considered to be ‘candidates’.

OSCE for RN
(Objective Structured Clinical Examination)
